Desire The International U2 Tribute Act

Tim has been playing in both original and cover bands for many years. His incredible experience as a vocalist and entertainer is proven as he authenticates and captures the charisma of Bono. Tim is the dominant force who owns the stage and brings Bono to life during every performance. He counts on U2 and The Beatles as his major musical influences.

Dave has been playing live since the age of 15, and is a multi-talented musician. Lead Guitar, Keys, Rhythm and backing vocals, Dave contributes more than his share to the sound envelope that is "Desire". Dave's tone says it all. His passionate drive for the multiple layers of sound and effects required to replicate the Edge, represents itself in the live show. When he is not playing guitar, Dave is a proud father of 2 boys.

JUSTIN FARAGHER - "Adam Clayton"
A true musicians' musician. Justin has been performing at a hectic pace since the early age of 12. Justin went on to contribute too many bands throughout the years. Justin was very impressed with the authentic U2 sound that Dave and Gord captured making it an easy decision to join Desire! He has been a lifelong U2 fan as well!

GORD SOBOTA - "Larry Mullen jr."
Gord began playing the drums at the age of 9. He has been performing live since he was 15 years old, along-side friends Dave and Justin. He works in the computer industry and his musical influences span from U2 to Metallica. Multitasking the musical and business side of things for the band, Gord's attention to detail and perseverance have paid off and is clearly audible in the "Desire" experience.

George Olliver

George Olliver is a Canadian musical institution. Audiences have been raving about his stage show for years. He has been described as a dynamic performer, great soulful voice and probably the best showman in Canada! What is often overlooked is that he is a prolific writer, producer, and successful recording artist. Olliver's career shot to stardom as the lead singer of the now legendary R&B band Mandala, with TOP TEN hits "Opportunity" and "Give and Take". Each new recording since then has been met with critical acclaim and nation-wide sales. Nicknamed "The Blue-Eyed Prince of Soul" he has remained one of the most popular performers on the Canadian music scene. George's extensive touring over the years has brought him international success, acknowledged by fans and industry critics alike. Having performed on tours with such band's as The Who, Rolling Stones and The Cream, George learned the importance of live performance. Moving on into the seventies, Olliver formed Natural Gas with the bands self-titled album charting in the TOP 10 in Canada and TOP 50 in the U.S.

Quinn Mills

“Quinn Mills is the REAL DEAL!” That’s high praise for the 17 year old singer-songwriter coming from seasoned professional musician/producer Buddy Hyatt. Mills is living up to that praise. He has already released two singles, “James Dean” and “Take It”, and played legendary venues like The Bitter End, Pete’s Candy and The Sidewalk Café in New York where greats like Lady Gaga and Nora Jones got their start along with The Silver Dollar Room and The Linsmore Tavern in Toronto. He has even performed at the highly esteemed New York Songwriters’ Circle Showcase. Mills has worked with some of the best in the music business: Buddy Hyatt (Toto), Nir Z (studio drummer for John Mayer and Jason Mraz), and Chad Cromwell (Neil Young’s drummer).

Born August 2, 1999 in Ajax, Ontario Canada, Mills is a gifted guitarist who writes pop, R&B songs that have catchy melodies and lyrical depth beyond his years. At 16 years old, Mills was signed by Dan Marshall and Tom Petrone to a management and publishing deal with their company MP Music House. Mills also plays keyboards, bass and drums, and produces his own songs. Mills is now backed by an incredibly talented back up band with 25 year old Chris Buysse on drums and 19 year old Julian Guzman on bass, Mills and his band “Quinn Mills & The Common Era” are upcoming artists to watch in 2017.

“Quinn is that rare artist that comes along every once in a while. Quinn is the full package! He epitomizes the artist of tomorrow from his unique song writing ability to his musicianship, to his image and most of all his drive,” says producer/publisher Dan Marshall.
